Day 5

Hello! It was a beautiful morning today. The sun was shining and it was cool! Thank goodness that humidity is gone.

Well today I set the GPS and used RunKeeper to see what I had done. It was a little deflating. I was moving for 12 minutes (from car back to car) and it was only .68 miles. How the hell am I going to do 3+ miles on Thankgiving!

I just need to get to the end, I don't need to be the fastest or kill myself doing it, I just need to get out there!!!

Day 4

I got up this morning (got my free coffee on the way) and got the park on this rainy day. When I got there I saw another person and not wanting to cross paths, because I didn't want to say hi, I started out jogging instead of running.

I basically just said, screw it, lets jog and see how far I can get. Well I made it all the way around! Then I walked a bit (caught my breath) then jogged a bit more, got a cramp and then walked the rest and back to the car. I was quite proud of myself!

Day 3

I didn't get up again, I slept terribly last night. I either have alleries that Claritin won't touch or a cold. But I have already told Dave that I'm getting up tomorrow so I will.

Also, there is free coffee at 7 eleven, so that will be an big motivation!

Day 2

I suck, I didn't get up today, on day 2! Crazy was wake for an hour in the middle of the night. Then I had to drop him off with a friend to go to a funeral. It was for a baby, I can't imagine their pain.

I will do something tomorrow!

Day 1

Today I got up at 7:15. I didn't sleep well, I'm getting a cold. I got to the park, it's called Diamonds in the Pines and began walking. There is a loop around a big football/soccer/anything you could think of field. I wasn't the only one out, there was another couple who were walking.
Anyway, I started by walking. I walked the long ends and jogged the short ends, and I went around twice. It took be about 12 minutes.  I feel good. Didn't take me to long to recover so I'm happy about that. I think I will do the same pattern for about a week, then switch to jogging the long ends and walking the short ends.

I am doing a 5k on Thanksgiving Day. I've been planning to do it since last year when Dave (my husband) and Mary (my sister) did it.

Today is the day!

Ok, Monday is actually the day but today I am starting this.

Here is the plan:

Don't hold anything back on this blog.
Exercise in the morning.
Advertise my weight weekly.
Eat well.
Let myself ramble and "get it out", I think this will help.
